Why
monsters?
Because winter is long, Mondays exist, and at some point you have to go home, shut the door and be a bit daft again. BABINES is a small monster-pyjama brand born from that very simple idea.

Winter isn’t a season, it’s an ordeal.
The wind, the black ice, the bus that sails past without stopping. Nothing we can do about that. But we can go home.

The sofa is a territory.
You defend it with a blanket, cushions and a dark look when someone takes the last crisp.

We’re allowed not to be serious.
All day long we answer emails. In the evening we have pink lips and a tuft on our head. It’s called balance.

A monster is for sharing.
As a couple, with flatmates, with friends, at Christmas. Alone, it’s funny. Together, it’s a family photo.

Soft on the inside, silly on the outside.
It’s our motto and, frankly, also good life advice.
